I have just about warts all of your videos I've gone through more than half of them and I have to tell you but you already know you could have a alternate career path even though you are an attorney you could actually choose an alternate path of career of course said you would need an attorney. Damn you open these locks flawlessly ridiculous you make it too easy looking I'm actually ordering a pick kit now and I know how to open up handcuffs and stuff now. But back in the day when I used to use handcuffs and the hog tie ropes and stuff I never put any thought and how to open them but it was known that the criminals could potentially get out but now that I go and travel foreign countries it's best to know how to escape and evade sincere at all cost

Btw my grandpas door to the garage is 5 centimeters of steel with a 4 rotation lock, where to open it you have to rotate it clockwise, and to close it you have to rotate it counterclockwise, and when you open it, 4 massive steel cylinders 1 centimeter in diameter slide out, and the door opens, and I am also not mentioning that the keyhole is to the left of the cylinders, so it is logical that to open you rotate counterclockwise, and to close you rotate clockwise, but it's the other way around, so it is quite strange at first, also the key is very strange, it say that the part with the things is 2 centimeters long and 2 centimeters wide, and it has about 10 things, so I think that is a 20!? Pin lock, also on top of it there is a strange thing that is aimed vertically unlike the other 20 pins. So the official description is--- a lock which is inside the door, which is 5 centimeters of pure steel, it is 4 rotational with a strange rotation device, the steel cylinders are inside the door so probably not easy to break, the key itself is a 21 pin 3 dimensional giant key, which makes my conclusion, I'd like to see you pick through this one. But you probably will do it in 10 minutes anyway.

I've noticed this guy (LPL) has a very fragile ego, as he's deleted any/all of my comments that throw some doubt on the quality of his videos, or even pleasantly suggest some improvements. He also never responds to his viewers' comments or questions. Further, he's obviously NOT a practising lawyer, as he's never offered one bit of evidence supporting that claim. I could claim to be a nuclear physicist if I wanted to, and nobody could prove otherwise. He calls himself a "lawyer" simply as an appeal to authority, nothing more--it's an old trick of anonymous posters on blogs and forums. Many of his "reviews" are very lightweight--particularly the recent silly Red Bull shimming tricks, which ultimately tell us nothing about the lock itself. Simply put, he likes to show off, but compared to numerous other lock picking sites, his explanation of the actual mechanics of locks are generally very short on detail, or often non-existent.

Not My Idea Chris J LPL, how about a video where you pick a new lock, improve it, and pick it again. Send it to bill, he picks it, improves it, and picks it, only to send it back to you until either there's no more improvements to be made, or someone can't pick the lock. 1. No trap pins 2. No destructive attacks 3. Improvements not shown on video until the other one picks it. 4. Loser donates $ to winners choice of charity. 5. If no more improvements, each donates to a charity of their choice.

I don't know why or when I started sporadically watching videos from this channel, but I keep coming here, it's really interesting for some reason I cannot explain :D A question I've always had though is how common is picking actually among thieves? For let's say a bike lock or a padlock for some changing room locker or something. I've personally lost a bike and had a padlock cut, as have many of my friends, family, coworkers etc etc... but I don't know that I've ever heard of locks being picked, it's always just angle grinders, bolt cutters or some other brute force method where pieces of lock or the entire lock gets left behind.

One time me and a friend were playing outside of my house, we left the keys inside and the door closed on us so i took a metal snail decoration from our garden which was made out of a metal stripe with a similiar thickness as a credit card. I straightened out a piece of it and used it to activate that thing on the door where it doesnt close properly so we could get inside. And then i watch your videos and im like "oh wow that really wasnt that impressive"

I really enjoy your videos but I must say that what is missing from them is the constructive part. It's one thing to destroy every locks out there with your obvious picking skills but what about showing the good ones or better make your own suggestions....I know, I know you don't do recommendation....(a bit cowardly if you ask me)...being able to pick or destroy anything is what it is but if you use a nuke you can open anything but what does it bring to the plate. looking at your video just makes me feel like everything out there is crap. Maybe you should start a co. and do better since you seems to have it all down path...Roll up your sleeves and bring solutions instead of just defects, vulnerabilities etc...

    • Geoff Rogerson
      Geoff Rogerson

@Ned Nedy ... I have no need to "prove" my assertion. It's the task of the proponent of a claim ("I'm a lawyer") to prove that by offering suitable evidence. I could claim to be a brain surgeon, and you could rightly ask me to prove it. Can I ask you then: why do you accept that LPL is actually a practising lawyer? What evidence makes you believe that? Or are you just another of his regular fanboys who never questions anything he says?

double mechanisms are super common for solviet locks but since most of em can be broken with a crowbar of hammer depending on how loud you wanna be they aint great. fortunately most ppl don't try the crowbar first.
