I want one! You have so many cool locks...
That thing looks like it was made by beating some scrap metal with a hammer.
Thing is, unless you're an expert, you'd have no clue what is inside most of this stuff. No?
Imagine you’re just hanging out at you’re house and in the night you hear “click out of one... two... three... four.... outside your door
Is there a lock you do recommend?
Dildo one open next please. Thank you.
Can you teach me lockpicking.
I have just about warts all of your videos I've gone through more than half of them and I have to tell you but you already know you could have a alternate career path even though you are an attorney you could actually choose an alternate path of career of course said you would need an attorney. Damn you open these locks flawlessly ridiculous you make it too easy looking I'm actually ordering a pick kit now and I know how to open up handcuffs and stuff now. But back in the day when I used to use handcuffs and the hog tie ropes and stuff I never put any thought and how to open them but it was known that the criminals could potentially get out but now that I go and travel foreign countries it's best to know how to escape and evade sincere at all cost
I mean it's "easy to pick" with such tools that, to me, seem pretty uncommon.
Anyone else's mind blown when he picked it up and it was that big?
Comrades this westerner is the real deal, we must inform the kgb and make him public enemy no.1 immediately
In Soviet Russia, lock picks you.
You sound like Modest Pelican Gaming.. am I the only one who thinks this?
Btw my grandpas door to the garage is 5 centimeters of steel with a 4 rotation lock, where to open it you have to rotate it clockwise, and to close it you have to rotate it counterclockwise, and when you open it, 4 massive steel cylinders 1 centimeter in diameter slide out, and the door opens, and I am also not mentioning that the keyhole is to the left of the cylinders, so it is logical that to open you rotate counterclockwise, and to close you rotate clockwise, but it's the other way around, so it is quite strange at first, also the key is very strange, it say that the part with the things is 2 centimeters long and 2 centimeters wide, and it has about 10 things, so I think that is a 20!? Pin lock, also on top of it there is a strange thing that is aimed vertically unlike the other 20 pins. So the official description is--- a lock which is inside the door, which is 5 centimeters of pure steel, it is 4 rotational with a strange rotation device, the steel cylinders are inside the door so probably not easy to break, the key itself is a 21 pin 3 dimensional giant key, which makes my conclusion, I'd like to see you pick through this one. But you probably will do it in 10 minutes anyway.
"Have to pick it twice to open....." still a 2 minute video! :-)
If communists hate capitalism, why they stamp price on all items? -- Philosoraptor
Wow 2 in a day, they must be quick picks
10 minutes before my AP exam starts...let’s watch LPL real quick
In Soviet Russia lock picks you
I honestly wished he hearted comments....
It's very common in soviet locks that you need to make 2 turns with key to open lock even in padlock.
can a 9volt battery unlock a car door? i get it from here uzload.info/fun/oWSKn52T2H-dpnU/video
LPL: "great addition" Factory : "Start producing people !!!"
The way he counts to 5 reminds me of a dentist
When what you’ve been trying to do forever gets blown out of the water by a lock pick question you don’t even understand😔😔😔😔😔
what is the hardest lock you have tried to pick?
This guy didn't finish the thieves guild quest line and now has the skeleton key.
I've noticed this guy (LPL) has a very fragile ego, as he's deleted any/all of my comments that throw some doubt on the quality of his videos, or even pleasantly suggest some improvements. He also never responds to his viewers' comments or questions. Further, he's obviously NOT a practising lawyer, as he's never offered one bit of evidence supporting that claim. I could claim to be a nuclear physicist if I wanted to, and nobody could prove otherwise. He calls himself a "lawyer" simply as an appeal to authority, nothing more--it's an old trick of anonymous posters on blogs and forums. Many of his "reviews" are very lightweight--particularly the recent silly Red Bull shimming tricks, which ultimately tell us nothing about the lock itself. Simply put, he likes to show off, but compared to numerous other lock picking sites, his explanation of the actual mechanics of locks are generally very short on detail, or often non-existent.
No. Its you. Trolls like you are annoying.
I used this lock just a week ago or so
When Pewdiepie Mentions you in a video: Tody we'll be Unlocking a Soviet era lock...
So your telling me a 50 year old lock requires more skill to pick than some of the locks made today ._.
In Soviet Russia locks pick you.
the category ia education
I love antique locks
It's really common for old soviet lever padlocks to have a simple bidding (even one or two levers) but double turn.
can you design a lock that you, yourself can't pick?
Imagine trying to break into his house
Why is the sparrows lock pick. 1 million dollars
Do you even bother using your own keys for things? seems like you'd pick locks faster anyway
Does anyone else wanna see LPL’s lock collection
Damn are there any safe locks? Any that you would recommend? I don’t actually ever need to lock anything except for my bike occasionally but it’s scary to see how some of these things can be picked with little-no effort... of course others require a substantial amount of skill but wow...
Abus has an excellent bike lock. LPL reviewed it a few videos ago.
LPL: So if you have any questions or comments please put them below. ME: waiting to see him answer questions
I know I’m late, but what if you designed a lock that you find extremely hard to pick
you should make a tier list about how long the lock lasted under your picking skills
2 mil suscribers special: DESIGN A UNLOCKABLE LOCK.
I dio would just rip it apart like I would do to the joestars
the minimum wage in the scoop was 27 rubles to shovels this castle was very expensive
этот совковый замок взламывается очень легко и быстро
Everybody gangsta till this guy robs a bank.
Finally ran out of Red Bull can. Nice lock
You should try making your own actually unpick-able lock. Then make a video testing it.
I came because of PewDiePie and I now have subscribed
Is there an un-pickable lock that exists?
If I were this guy I would not feel safe knowing that anyone with half his skill could probably easily get into his house
1 rubel 89 kopek🤔
the minimum wage in the scoop was 27 rubles
Dude you need to make a lock museum for all the unusual stuff in your collection!
Yeah yeah yeah, but can you open it with a Redbull can?
LPL with the main locking mechanism of the Fort Knox vault door: “as you can see guys not very difficult but a good addition to my collection”
Not My Idea Chris J LPL, how about a video where you pick a new lock, improve it, and pick it again. Send it to bill, he picks it, improves it, and picks it, only to send it back to you until either there's no more improvements to be made, or someone can't pick the lock. 1. No trap pins 2. No destructive attacks 3. Improvements not shown on video until the other one picks it. 4. Loser donates $ to winners choice of charity. 5. If no more improvements, each donates to a charity of their choice.
Can u doe a tour of al ur locks?
Rumor says that lock was on Stalingrad gate and Nazis picked it only once
Is there a website we can buy old locks like this?
Neat from russia to send you this
I have a small beverage fridge that has a interesting flat hexagon key, I have never lockpicked but I opened it with the back of a spoon on the first try
I feel like LPL was a Dentist in his other life. The hands move so smooth and count just like the dentist.
Gee... that's original LOL.
Is there any lock you cant pick? lol.
You are Gordon Ramsay but for locks. No arguements.
The key seems easy to replicate. Not to mention it seems as if it was chewed on...
Can you make a list of training locks for beginners
I'd be worried it was radioactive. "Let's see em pick this one with lead lined gloves on..."
Why does he remind me of a dentist? Haha
Well it looks like the only thing working for the USSR is their padlocks xD
Where'd you buy this? I really like this kind of lock.
I don't know why or when I started sporadically watching videos from this channel, but I keep coming here, it's really interesting for some reason I cannot explain :D A question I've always had though is how common is picking actually among thieves? For let's say a bike lock or a padlock for some changing room locker or something. I've personally lost a bike and had a padlock cut, as have many of my friends, family, coworkers etc etc... but I don't know that I've ever heard of locks being picked, it's always just angle grinders, bolt cutters or some other brute force method where pieces of lock or the entire lock gets left behind.
Can we take a moment to appreciate the fact that he has numbered over 1000 videos yet other UZloadrs can’t put a numbers on there game series
Que chucha un canal de puros candados
As the number before the video title increase, the length of the videos are decreasing,
I agree. In fact they're now so short he hasn't got the time, apparently, to even explain how they work. His channel has just become an excuse to show off.
One time me and a friend were playing outside of my house, we left the keys inside and the door closed on us so i took a metal snail decoration from our garden which was made out of a metal stripe with a similiar thickness as a credit card. I straightened out a piece of it and used it to activate that thing on the door where it doesnt close properly so we could get inside. And then i watch your videos and im like "oh wow that really wasnt that impressive"
Its a soviet lock so the contents of what ever its locked on belongs to everyone so its meant to have a critical design flaw.
Imagine how many locks this guy's home's door has. Just 1100 locks on one door
For a change could you put up a video that shows a challenge - its becomes quite uninteresting to see you do "now this was fairly easy to pick open"...
Bruh I ate so much mash potato
Is it possible to pick a car ignition system? Like, make the car start without the key? Not trying to do anything bad, I just want to know if it’s possible and how I can protect my car.
I’d like to see a museum of all your locks with videos of you picking each one
Does he cuss? I want to know to to subscribe or not.
Nope. It's all delivered robotic-style. He calls himself a "lawyer" simply as an appeal to authority, nothing more--it's an old trick of anonymous posters on blogs and forums. I really enjoy your videos but I must say that what is missing from them is the constructive part. It's one thing to destroy every locks out there with your obvious picking skills but what about showing the good ones or better make your own suggestions....I know, I know you don't do recommendation....(a bit cowardly if you ask me)...being able to pick or destroy anything is what it is but if you use a nuke you can open anything but what does it bring to the plate. looking at your video just makes me feel like everything out there is crap. Maybe you should start a co. and do better since you seems to have it all down path...Roll up your sleeves and bring solutions instead of just defects, vulnerabilities etc...
@Ned Nedy LOL... yet ANOTHER of LPL's little fanboys. Grow up mate, and get a life.
LPL has had lock companies see his videos and improve their locks based on LPLs videos. Maybe you could roll up your sleeves and be productive yourself. You could start by stopping the virtue signals.
Every video be like: "Here's a lock" "Here's how crap it is"
lock companies be hoping that LPL does not notice their locks.
This looks like its made of scrap metal
Любишь ты русские замки....
The KGB is coming for you, this is classified information and it is forbidden to acquire, or even worse, share it. Consider yourself an enemy of the state. You can't escape, LPL.
Ovaj bi mogao da obije ceo balkan Al sva sreća pa nije pipac
LPL voice has daddy vibes
I think you'll find that this guy is NOT actually a lawyer--it's just a clever screen name. He's never once offered any evidence that he is a practising lawyer. And obviously people here will eagerly jump to his defence, but with zero proof.
Why aren't you a Locksmith instead of a lawyer?
@Geoff Rogerson Accusations require proof.
@Ned Nedy ... I have no need to "prove" my assertion. It's the task of the proponent of a claim ("I'm a lawyer") to prove that by offering suitable evidence. I could claim to be a brain surgeon, and you could rightly ask me to prove it. Can I ask you then: why do you accept that LPL is actually a practising lawyer? What evidence makes you believe that? Or are you just another of his regular fanboys who never questions anything he says?
@Geoff Rogerson Prove your accusation. We can start there.
I wonder if this guy hustles lock companies, like he demands money and if they dont pay he wrecks their shit on his channel
Can you make some merch like everything you need lock picking sets, compact lock picking sets, or maybe like shirts?
In Soviet Russia the lock pick you...then themselves...
Любишь ты Советские замки ;)
double mechanisms are super common for solviet locks but since most of em can be broken with a crowbar of hammer depending on how loud you wanna be they aint great. fortunately most ppl don't try the crowbar first.
